Hello,
Never heard of it? Not many have - it's been on TV once, and not round
the cinemas since 1969. It was one of the most obscure, most bootlegged
films around. Paul Weller's favourite film apparently.

Anyway...
...the director has realised people are interested in it, so he's
brought it out himself on VHS and DVD!!

I've managed to acquire some stills from the film, plus Paolo Hewitt has
written a small piece on it for the modculture site.

If you want a look, here's the page:
http://www.modculture.co.uk/bronco/

It has links to the director's website, which also has the theatre
trailer in quicktime.

Cheers,

Subject: thunderbirds on TV in US

Tech TV has recently started playing re-runs of the
classic 60's kids program "Thunderbirds". For those
not familiar it is a marionette/puppet show that
focuses on the international rescue team set in the
year 2000-something or other. There are alot of
interesting elements for those into the sixties such
as the modern island headquarters in the international
style, occassional glimpses of sixties garb on the
puppets, and that sixties ideal where technology
solves our problems...

It has been playing at 10:00 pm pacific time and I
believe at other times as well. Interested parties
can keep a look out.

p.s. before you mock me for having watched tech tv in
the first place just remember I saved you the trouble.

It's a classic skinhead movie. There's even a mailorder in Spain named after it.

Be sure to visit the Venus club and Tiki bar at the
Venetian. It was created by Shag
http://www.shagmart.com. In the old downtown at
Fremont Street they often have bands play for free.
Sometimes Motown groups. As I am sure you are aware
you can always catch shows from $20 to $200 of of 60's
music groups around. For shopping, the Attic (near
the stratosphere) is fun - offering vintage clothing
and furniture at inflated prices. There are several
thrift stores also nearby. I am sure the locals can
offer you more info.

Can anyone help me get in contact with Riley Moore? I
tried her website but it is unavailable. I lost her
number and I need a haircut! Thanks
