Things which take months of pain in MakeMaker often take a few hours with Module::Build. We just ported M::B to VMS last night. One bug fix, two trivial method overrides. You don't want to know the sort of backflips that are necessary to keep MM working on VMS. Try it. -- I am forever changed by their dopeness.
