Well, someone asked what I'm looking for in navigation bar. Well, the more correct term may be navigation menu, as navigation bar is the entire part of the page that contains it.
What I want is a tree of links that comes on the side, which can direct visitors to common pages in the site. Look at stuff I already have at: http://t2.technion.ac.il/~shlomif/ (where you'll see that categories expand or unexpand depending on the URL and that links become bold when accessed.) http://vipe.technion.ac.il/~shlomif/freecell-solver/ (which is pretty much constant and uninteresting) http://perl-begin.berlios.de/ (which also has expansion, as well as several sub-categories, and title="" elements).
