I've already got some sample code working using WWW::Mechanize and HTML::TokeParser to extract prices from both Yahoo Finance and the CBOE. The CBOE has a nice file-download utility that would make things *so* easy, but there's a big no-mechanized-downloading warning on that page. <sigh>
'Easily' available -- I guess we'll see how durable my code will be. 'Freely' available -- I've been through both Yahoo's site and the CBOE site and I haven't seen anything I could interpret as a restriction on this kind of extraction.
