You can stop right there; RedHat has an insanely long system @INC which
means that certain command exceed kernal shell limit, leading to this:
Couldn't run Build.PL: Argument list too long at
/root/.cpan/build/Module-Build-0.2801/blib/lib/Module/Build/Compat.pm line 200.
It's a known issue that Ken and Randy are working on, but it's a tough
one to deal with. I don't think there is a workaround at this time.
You may try and do the install outside of cpan, but it may be that the
test will still fail.
