Hi,

I was the first occupant of the App:: namespace on CPAN in 2002.
I started populating it with related distributions for an application
development
framework.

Over the years I have seen various people drop distributions
in that namespace. Rarely are they related to building applications
and none of them that I can tell are actually complete applications in
themselves
(except the ones I have been building using my application development framework
which have not yet hit CPAN).

So for those who are interested in the history and use of the App:: namespace,
I have added a bit more information.
