Yeah, that does seem to be my problem (version.pm) rather than Ken's. 
I'll take a look tonight...

p.s. I'm also getting ready to bump version to 1.0 when Perl v5.10.0 
ships, so I'll be producing a patch to M::B to update the embedded 
version.pm code as well...
