It looks like the attempts to improve CPANPLUS::Dist::Build to interact with
Module::Build via subprocesses and to capture test output has inadvertently
changed PERL5LIB in a way that creates Module-Build test failures. See some
of the many red and orange blocks at
http://bbbike.radzeit.de/~slaven/cpantestersmatrix.cgi?dist=Module-Build+0.31_03for
examples.

CPAN TESTERS -- please downgrade CPANPLUS::Dist::Build to 0.05 until this is
resolved. While this may be isolated to Module::Build, any inappropriate
PERL5LIB changes could be causing false failure reports for other modules as
well.

MODULE-BUILD people -- anyone with some spare time and interest, please look
at CPANPLUS-Dist-Build 0.06_03 and see what might be causing the
inappropriate PERL5LIB. Please see either the tarball on CPAN or check it
out from http://svn.perl.org/modules/CPANPLUS-Dist-Build/trunk/ Real time
discussions can be had on #toolchain.

We're very close to having much better coordination between M::B and
CP::D::B -- if we can just resolve this PERL5LIB snag, we should be nearing
the point where we can have a coordinated, full release of both modules.

Thank you for your help,

David
