why:
My main goal in the next few years is to develop an alternative to
Jenkins for CI, which seems like the only decent free one, but is
too horribly complicated. I am currently developing a shared
credential storage tool in Rust
(https://github.com/danielthegray/vaultfile), but want to move into
Perl to make the actual orchestration tool (and I might port the
secret management code into Perl as well!).
I don't plan to upload anything just yet, but rather to familiarize
myself with the ecosystem and the language. I'm reading through
"Intermediate Perl" at the moment, and it recommends to have a PAUSE
account ready. I look forward to participating in the
Perl/CPAN/PAUSE community!
