There is no such functionality in core or APR. You may want to look at what http://apache.webthing.com/mod_proxy_html/ does. There is also my http://www.heute-morgen.de/modules/mod_xml2/, which integrates libxml2 with apache. It is a tool to write filters. It is however beta and I won't have time to work on it for at least one month. Sincerely, Joachim
