The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List: modid: CGI::Kwiki DSLIP: cdpOp description: Create an extendible Wiki in minutes userid: INGY (Brian Ingerson) chapterid: 15 (World_Wide_Web_HTML_HTTP_CGI) communities: #module
similar: CGI::Wiki rationale: CGI::Kwiki is meant to be a very fast way to get a Wiki website running. You just type kwiki.cgi -setup from an empty cgi-enabled directory, and you're running. CGI::Kwiki will also have extendible Format, Store, Search and Template classes if you feel like extending it, but will provide reasonable lightweight defaults. CGI::Wiki is a similar framework, but is too heavy for simple setups. It has a lot of prereq modules and requires an sql database backend. CGI::Kwiki will have few to zero prereqs, and will use a simple filesystem backend. It will require no programming or even configuration for a simple install. Sometimes you just want a *kwiki* :) enteredby: INGY (Brian Ingerson) enteredon: Sun Mar 30 23:15:10 2003 GMT The resulting entry would be: CGI:: ::Kwiki cdpOp Create an extendible Wiki in minutes INGY Thanks for registering, -- The PAUSE PS: The following links are only valid for module list maintainers: Registration form with editing capabilities: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=fa400000_f930f0d3c933d618&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_preview=1 Immediate (one click) registration: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=fa400000_f930f0d3c933d618&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_insertit=1
