The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:

  modid:       SVG::SVG2zinc
  DSLIP:       adpfl
  description: code generator and SVG display with Tk::Zinc
  userid:      CMERTZ (Christophe Mertz)
  chapterid:   18 (Images_Pixmaps_Bitmaps)
  communities:

  similar:
    Tk::Zinc, used by SVG::SVG2zinc is a canvas supporting openGL. It
    will soon be available on CPAN

  rationale:

    SVG::SVG2zinc could have been named under the Tk::Zinc module which
    will soon be uploaded on the CPAN. However, SVG::SVG2zinc can be
    used to generate script or modules for any scripting language
    supporting TkZinc (currently python or tcl). This module does not
    require neither Tk nor Tk::Zinc in this case

    As far as I know, without Tk::Zinc it was not possible to display
    SVG in an acceptable way (graphic models of Tk::Canvas and SVG are
    far too different)

    So this module can be considered as unique

The resulting entry would be:

SVG::
::SVG2zinc adpfl code generator and SVG display with Tk::Zinc CMERTZ
