The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:

  modid:       Apache::RandomImage
  DSLIP:       RdpOp
  description: Randomly display images from a directory
  userid:      PEPL (Michael Kröll)
  chapterid:   15 (World_Wide_Web_HTML_HTTP_CGI)
  communities:
    CVS repository

  similar:
    Apache::RandomLocation

  rationale:

    Apache::RandomImage is lightweight module to randomly display
    images from a directory. The specialization of serving randomly
    select files out of a directory makes it really lightweight in
    relation to Apache::RandomLocation for example (~30 lines of code in
    relation to ~300; furthermore it does not use CGI.pm). While
    Apache::RandomLocation is configured using a textfile,
    Apache::RandomImage keeps its configuration data inside its Apache
    configuration block; thus, admins have no need to manage an extra
    file.

  enteredby:   PEPL (Michael Kröll)
  enteredon:   Tue Nov  4 12:39:13 2003 GMT

The resulting entry would be:

Apache::
::RandomImage RdpOp Randomly display images from a directory PEPL
