The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:

  modid:       SNMP::Agent
  DSLIP:       adpOp
  description: Simplifies creation of SNMP AgentX subagents
  userid:      AELSE (Alexander Else)
  chapterid:   5 (Networking_Devices_IPC)
  communities:
    http://github.com/aelse/SNMP-Agent

  similar:
    NetSNMP::agent

  rationale:

    If you search for an way to implement a SNMP subagent in C, perl or
    python you will not find one as simple to use as this.

    This module gets rid of most of the boilerplate code involved in
    creating a SNMP subagent. The developer registers some number of
    SNMP OIDs to functions that return information. The module handles
    the AgentX communication with the system SNMP daemon, calling the
    functions when required.

    Easy for developers, systems integrators and ops personnel to
    monitor system performance remotely (via eg. cricket, opennms, etc).

    Uses the NetSNMP::agent hooks into net-snmp for AgentX support.

The resulting entry would be:

SNMP::
::Agent adpOp Simplifies creation of SNMP AgentX subagents AELSE
