rationale:
PDL::IO::Misc provides wcols (used by PDL::IO::Export2D) but it is
inconvenient when a user simply wants to write an entire 2D piddle
(array of data) to a file. Export2D provides this convenience.
N.B. Other modules in the PDL::IO:: namespace write in specific
formats, mostly image types or network types.
