I'm a bioinformatician with a background in molecular biology and
genetics. I've been writing code in Perl for about two years now and
I've just bought the Intermediate Perl book in order to improve my
understanding of Perl. The book suggested that I get a PAUSE account
in order to be able to contribute to CPAN. I hope that eventually
I'll possess the necessary knowledge to write efficient modules for
CPAN, related to my scientific field.
