why:
I have (the beginnings of) two modules lined up that I would like
to distribute:
First, a text converter comprising a number of filters for lossy
text compression (e.g. lowercasing, for Unicode's current definition
of "lower case"). The goal is to reduce the entropy of texts while
retaining most readability, allowing for better subsequent lossless
compression.
Second, a family of templating engines which do *not* operate on
text, but directly on XML/HTML DOMs; and a data-to-data template
framework.
