The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:

  modid:       ZMQ::FFI
  DSLIP:       bdpOp
  description: high level zeromq bindings using FFI::Raw
  userid:      CALID (Dylan Cali)
  chapterid:   5 (Networking_Devices_IPC)
  communities:
    zeromq mailing lists eventually

  similar:
    ZMQ

  rationale:

    The current ZMQ modules use XS/C to bind to specific zeromq
    versions. They also present a lower level api (mimicking the zmq C
    api). ZMQ::FFI uses the relatively new FFI::Raw module to provide a
    more flexible implementation, not tied to any specific zmq version.
    Using ffi means there is no XS or compilation requirement. It also
    presents a higher level, more transparent (version independent) OO
    api use Moo.

The resulting entry would be:

ZMQ::
::FFI bdpOp high level zeromq bindings using FFI::Raw CALID
