Dear PAUSE admin, I'd like to adopt Term::EditLine.
I forked the code onto GitHub and did some basic maintenance on the distribution and sent the author a polite message requesting either enhancements or that he allow me to adopt the module. I am attaching his response, which came back pretty quickly indicating his intention to give me ownership of the module. He said he needed to recover his PAUSE password. I haven't heard back from the original owner since, and I've sent two polite follow ups since to check if he needed any assistance. I assume that he is busy with other things and hasn't been able to do it. I read the FAQ but I didn't make a public announcement since that seemed primarily for contacting the original author which I have already done. On your advice I can try that as well, but I am hoping we can short circuit that since I believe that the original author has given his blessing on my adopting the module.
