why:
I produced a moduleset to deal with USCG, NOAA, NGA, CHS, and CCG
downloads required of mariners for regulatory compliance. Recently
the US and Canada both approved carriage of navigation publications
electronically. The weekly downloads are tedious, this module set
automates the process. It is highly configurable, using an easy to
read YAML configuration file. It includes the ability to search
websites for relevant weekly download links. I plan to work on
TRANSAS route file management software, and general marine
navigation utilities.
