I've contributed to an open source data serialization software
called Apache Avro for a few years. Avro has a Perl module but it's
not published via CPAN. That's recognized as an issue
(https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AVRO-1461), but there's no
progress over three years. So I'd like to work with it and publish
Avro on CPAN for users' convenience.
