Hello,

I'm interested in adopting the XML::Easy module. If you can grant me the privilege I will release the next version.

I'm motivated largely for the purpose of getting XML::Easy to consistently build and pass all its tests on Unix-like systems. Cf.:
http://fast2-matrix.cpantesters.org/?dist=XML-Easy

I have created a GH repository for XML-Easy:
https://github.com/jkeenan/p5-XML-Easy

... whose master branch I then populated with one commit for each of the tarballs currently available on CPAN. I have created a branch which shows promising results on Linux and FreeBSD.

I have also been reviewing some long-living bug tickets at:
https://rt.cpan.org/Dist/Display.html?Name=XML-Easy

If you approve, please also give me access to that RT page so that I can migrate existing tickets to GH issues.

(BTW: What is the current best practice for conducting an
rt.cpan.org -> GH/issues migration?)

Thank you very much.
Jim Keenan
cpanid: JKEENAN
