There's no delay between you being granted indexing permissions and you being able to release something on PAUSE which will then be indexed. There are delays in PAUSE's information propagating to the rest of the CPAN Ecosystem (MetaCPAN, for example). If you still have the error email you got from PAUSE, if you can forward it to me, that might make things clear. I wonder whether you didn't have all of the indexing permissions at the time of your release, but you were subsequently given them? Normally at this point I would force a re-indexing of your release, to see whether it works, but I don't want to do that because of the version number clash. If you can do a release with a bumped version number, hopefully it will be indexed as expected, and if not, then it will become clearer why not. Cheers, Neil
