Suneel,

This is what happens when someone is barely able to install SQL and run the
script to create the quarantine db. Doesn't know enough to be dangerous, but
knows so little he is REALLY dangerous.

For example, a stupid question, do you still allow the dynamic growth when
you have the auto-shrink enabled?

Thanks,
Rick

If you right click on the Database from Enterprise Manager you can adjust
some off the properties. One off the properties you should enable is to
Auto-Shrink the Database.

Basically, SQL 2000 allows a database to grow dynamically (normally by 10%
at a time). However, the Auto-Shrink option is normally not on by default.

Suneel.

Greetings,

I was checking my SQL server and noticed that the quarantine mdf is over 65
meg. Does Modus never clear out this file? I have my mail only available for
release from quarantine for 3 days because of the amount of spam received. I
know the mdf does not contain the actual message files, but how is everybody
dealing with this issue or am I missing something?

Thanks
Rick
