However, I found that WinMerge (I believe it's on SourceForge) is a fantastic freely available utility for helping with this. Simply put you backup your existing ASPRoot directory and install the New Version. You then open WinMerge and tell it to compare the New ASPRoot directory and your old Backup and check the recursive option. You can then easily view the differences and merge in your customizations. I should also point out that you don't actually have to backup your ASPRoot directory as the Modus Mail installation routine will do this for you, by copying all the old files to a directory like 'ASPRoot1' before installing the new files.
