Stayed up past my normal bedtime (what's a normal bedtime for an ISP owner
anyhow?) and installed M3 at 2am. I was done backing up and installing the
software by 2:20am. Our 5-day spam total with M2.1 was running at a new
high of 140,000 but that was with 10-20 messages getting through the filters
daily and ending up in my inbox. Keeping in mind that M3 has only been
running since 2:20am Tuesday, our NEW 5-day quarantine total is sitting at
171,000. I had 1 message make it through the filters today (forwarded to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]) and 73 blocked. There were two FP's, but they were
"jokes" forwarded to me raw from someone's hotmail account. (no big loss)
I've turned off ALL my custom sieve scripts (except for my "approved"
one)and I only have spamhaus.org running as my RBL. Heck, I even turned off
my protocol filter.
So far I'm impressed. I haven't heard from my day tech-staff yet to find
out if they had any calls on lack of inbox activity today.
Thanks again Vircom for putting out a great product. :)
