* This is the modus mailing list * We too were reluctant to disable all the custom scripts we had made. We took the advise of Vircom and "The Beta Testers" and did disable them. It made no difference. We still have almost 100% catch rate. Then we disabled the RBL's the next day, Still almost 100% catch rate. We did however leave the spamOflt on. That will be the next test, although I have some entries in there that may have to stay. CPU usage is down 1/3rd from before on 2.1.
A side note: Most of my customers are dial-up customers. One lady told me she was getting between 50 and 75 Spam e-mails a day. She now only gets the two legitimate e-mails. She stated that she thought we had also done a major upgrade on our dial up equipment also because her mail was much faster. I went into the Remote Access Logs and compared Monday and Tuesday of last week to Monday and Tuesday of this week.
