Wouldn't you just sometimes like to call your dialup customer and say...

"Why do you keep cutting us off??? We're TRYING to provide you with
great internet service so you can do your work, your studies, your
research, and your games BUT YOU KEEP CUTTING US OFF!  If you don't fix
this soon, we're going to find another customer!"

No matter how much evidence you give them over the phone, they never
believe you until you drive out to their house and prove it to them.
