I believe there is value
in being able to view the full Internet headers of a message while in the
webmail interface. As most of you know,
this is not currently an option with ModusMail. I know there are other email server
packages out there (by NO MEANS will I switch because of this) that do have
this functionality. Yahoo &
Hotmail both have this feature as well.
I cannot say that we have an overwhelming number of users that
exclusively use webmail but we do have some. Furthermore, we ask our users to submit
full headers when submitting spam.
Not that they comply any way, but how can I expect to get headers from
my webmail users when our server software does not even allow them to see the
headers. Another instance, more
global, that would come into play here is the problem Robin discovered with the
WL/BL function not working correctly due to the “from” addressing. This is a request to
each of you that see the same value here that I do. If you would like to see this feature
added to ModusMail please forward this message directly to Michael (DO NOT
REPLY TO THE LIST). The only way
Vircom will consider this is if they know that many of us want the feature. Thanks in advance to
all that help me get this done!
