I personally don't mind either as Outlook does support Newsgroups when
tied to an Exchange Server. We could configure our corporate Exchange
server to pull the messages from the Vircom NNTP server.

However, I still think it best to look at a Web Based Forum that
integrates with the mailing list. This should be trivial to do using any
existing Forum package. You could then have an Agent to send new posts
to the list into the Forum that way the two are kept in sync.

only outlook express has newsgroups, not big outlook. but you can
install
both and make one default for news and other for mail.
