Subject: [Modus] Modus 3 Web Admin Woes...

We upgraded from VopMail to Modus L and are having issues with the WebAdmin for Modus.  Some are aesthetic and some are just plain bugs.

Are there plans on a pending upgrade to the WebAdmin?

Bugs (or at least we can’t figure it out)

  1. Can’t create a new domain from the WebAdmin (you could in Vop’s webadmin)

Known issue. Submit it as a feature request (others have already).

  1. When logged on as domain admin and select manage users you loose the tab to edit lists (only way to get back is hit the back button in the browser until you get back to the admin then select lists)

(don’t know, and will look into it if no-one else responds).

  1. A Domain admin gets .NET errors when selecting Whitelist/Blacklist options

Known issue, and should be fixed by Vircom sometime in the near future.

  1. Options for Antivirus, Attachements, Anti-Spam, Whitelist, Blacklist show up even though we don’t have those features (were on Modus L)

You can modify the ASXC files to hide this. I will make sure this is brought up during the next release testing.

  1. No way to edit user aliases

You should submit this as a feature request.

Aesthetics… gee it would be nice if….

  1. the edit & delete button was more than one space apart. Can’t tell you how many times I accidentally hit it.

You should be able to do this by editing the ASPX / ASCX files. I’ll make a note off this and bring it up before the next release.

  1. you could control how many users were shown on a page (both on user management and list management)

You should submit this as a feature request.

  1. you could search the list members to find a specific user (we have one with 7,200 entries it takes a while to get to the right page in order to delete the user)

You should submit this as a feature request.

Just my 2cents.

Thanks
