* This is the modus mailing list *

Since we run ver 3 our spam detection level is really
fantastic. However we have some problems with false
positives mainly from mailing lists where our
customers have subscribed. We tell them to use
whitelists to solve this problem.

However I see 2 things a bit strange:

- When looking at our quarantine I can see that all
spam is detected under the "normal" spam category.
(server and user setting is set to extreme as
default setting)

I cannot find any spam being detected in the "strong"
or "extreme" categories.

Is this what other people using ver 3 also see? If yes
what is the use of "strong" and "extreme" categories?

- On our modusgate server spam is detected in the different
categories (hoax, adult, patterns, money ...) On our
modusmail server about 98% of all spam detection is in the
category miscellaneous and sometimes I can find spam
  being detected in another category.

Is this a normal?

In our setup Modusgate filters the domains running on
our postoffice service while modusmail filters for
domains running on the modusmail server itself.

All this doesn't cause us any real problems however
I would like to know if this is what other people see?

Regards,
Christian
