Title: Message

I am not sure if I have settings incorrect or what but I just updated to Modus v.3 last night and now my users are complaining of more spam and viruses not less.  I have double checked settings, spam scanning is set to Strong, Virus scanning is turned on, forbidden attachments are set to normal, I am using no RBL’s….

Hi Jerod,

I don't know if there's anything Magpie can do about this, but I figured I'd ask.  I've been receiving tons of email with viruses attached, and receiving messages that email I sent had viruses -- but it's email to account names I've never heard of and don't have in my address book.

Most of the virus email I receive comes disguised as Microsoft "New net security upgrade" or "latest critical security patch."

This morning I had 96 of these in my inbox, and after cleaning them out, just receive 2 more.

Is there any way this can be blocked or stopped?

Thanks so much.

I have also noticed that our global aliases are no longer working if you send to an address that is a domain alias on the account.  For instance for my account I have an alias like this.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] : [EMAIL PROTECTED]

the [EMAIL PROTECTED] still works but it also used to work for all of our domain aliases so [EMAIL PROTECTED] would work, now I get this…

Your message has encountered delivery problems

to the following recipient(s):

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

(Was addressed to [EMAIL PROTECTED])

Delivery failed

Unable to deliver to destination domain

Cannot resolve

Any ideas?

Jerod
