We recently upgraded from Modus 1.x to 2 and from 2 to 3. In 1.x versions, if a message was sent to 10 accounts and filtering was enabled on any of the accounts, the message was blocked for all of the accounts. I believe this was listed as fixed in build 255: “Messages are no longer quarantined for recipients who have the scanning option disabled.” However, we still see messages in the quarantine for accounts that have never had spam filtering enabled. Is it merely the reporting that is incorrect, or does this bug still exist (or since been reintroduced)?
The same build also lists the following fix: “When using forwarding addresses (e.g. box A forwards to box B), messages are now scanned using the settings on the forwarded address (box B).” This does not seem to be the case. Are there any known issues in this regard? I’ll research it a bit more before I report a genuine bug, but I’m pretty sure that forwarding accounts do not honor the spam filter settings of the destination mailbox.
