It definitely could be it.  Emails from Trusted IPs won`t be scanned for anything spam-related (but will be scanned for viruses).
 
Very common mistake, the solution is to test your spam from an outside account.

please help, why would not the filters below stop this email? i have added these to my custome filters until you can update the Real filter, but when i send it to my [EMAIL PROTECTED] box it comes right thru after the filters have been enabled?? original message was forwarded to me by a customer of one of the domains i host.
