Hi Suneel.
I would be pleased to test it. Your add-on (in?) stuff has always been
good.
Thanks!
Lewis

OK, let me start by saying that as I corrected Plain Text display so
that spacing is justified it is actually my add-on that causes the Word
Wrapping not to function. Vircom's original code depended on the browser
to handle the word wrapping which in turn ensures the correct printing.
They did this by not altering the plain text messages. Whilst this works
for most cases some emails are incorrectly formatted. An example would
be one contain my Plain Text signature which uses space to encapsulate
text within an ASCII border. Displaying this directly as HTML results in
extra whitespace being removed and hence the padding within my Plain
Text signature gets removed causing the message to display incorrectly.

I fixed the above by converting all instances of a space to &nbsp; and
displaying the resultant output within the <TT></TT> (teletype) tags.
This formats the email correctly but does not handle plain text messages
where no word wrapping has been used. As more and more people seem to be
having this issue I think I will go ahead and fix it. It was something I
was not going to bother with, but demand seems to be there.

I should have a fix by sometime tomorrow (I will try and have one at
some point today).

I would appreciate it if a couple people would volunteer to test this as
my test server is currently offline.

Why is it you get a penny for your thoughts but have to put in your two

I received the following message from one of my users. I have dropped in

Suneels customized files and apparently these do not affect this
problem.

Any suggestions?

"When I read a text based email using webmail, the lines of text do not

wrap when viewed or printed. However, HTML based text does wrap. Is

there a way to get the text based email to wrap either when viewing or

when printing? "

Thanks!

Lewis
