* This is the modus mailing list * Boy, we have had the ModusMail server up and running for two days now and it is GREAT! Outstanding in filtering junk email out.
We are using an External Foxpro Database for Authentication so we could tie it to our accounting system and using SQL database for the Quarantine Database. In the first 2 hours of operation it blocked over 10,000 junk email messages and so far I have only found 1 that shouldn't have been blocked. Outstanding Vircom!!!! Product = Outstanding! Support = Outstanding! (We are extremely impressed with the speedy support when we are on the ropes!) Price = Outstanding! We are running it on Windows 2000 Server with Athon 2800 CPU, 1 Gig ram, Dual 80 Gig Scsi 10,000 RPM drives that are Raid Mirrored. It seems to be screaming right long :-) So your heads don't get too big :-) We do see some problems with Webmail, it seems to time-out or give errors to customers from time to time when they try and log in. We are seeing this mostly with Dialup users. Anyone else seeing this problem ? If anyone needs a little help or info on connecting to an external database like foxpro, give me a yell.
