What happens when you test the ODBC connection from the ModusMail box
using the same user name and password that ModusMail is using? You can
test the connection from the last step in the ODBC settings wizard.

ModusMail does not recover well when a connection to the SQL Server is
lost.
We find that if we boot our SQL Server after applying a patch or if
something else occurs which kills ModusMail's existing connection to the
database, we have to restart the ModusMail services. Otherwise, we'll
have gigs worth of error log files in a day.

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem. Last entry into the quarantine is dated
3 days ago. The Spam directory is chock ablock with messages.

I tested the ODBC connection to my SQL Quarantine and it is working
fine.

I also get these errors:

---- MODUSADM log entry made at 12/15/2003 02:28:48 Mail Store error

error. Check your network documentation.

This happened after I upgraded to the latest build.

anyone know what these error logs mean?

Mail Store error [0xE00E03F6]:
---- MODUSADM log entry made at 12/15/2003 15:39:55 Mail Store error
[0x0000007B]:
---- MODUSADM log entry made at 12/15/2003 15:39:55

I've got 120,000 messages spooled in our \spam folder, and they don't
want to go away...

Restarted ModusAdm, even rebooted the machine.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Lapo Nustrini
