sounds like you have it installed on Windows 2003 Server.. This is a security thing and there is a workaround, but I dont remember what it is.

Subject: [Modus] Modus Web Mail compoenent

Good morning

Have any of you folks managed to get an “development” asp root to work with modus?

In the past this has been as simple as copying the mmwclient/asproot folder to a duplicate, adding a virtual directory and changing config.asp.

So far I have been unsuccessful, and get this message.

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0131'

Disallowed Parent Path

/dealbuilder/Templates/Login.asp, line 115

The Include file '../Include/Ads.asp' cannot contain '..' to indicate the parent directory.

Vircom support has been unusually reluctant to answer questions, which has surprised me greatly.

This has not been a problem in many previous versions.
