No, I don't. In fact, the error logs are not particularly big, but its as if ModusAdm is occasionally trying to archive some Spam, gets the error listed earlier, and gives up for while.

I'm trying a few things ATM. I'll let you know if I find anything useful.

BTW, is there a repository of all the different error codes the Modus spits out?
It would be very useful to know what is going on, before trying to contact Support.

Thanks,
Lapo

I would be curious to know also as I just had a major e-mail holdup over
Christmas.

I am assuming this has to do with the connection to the SQL server.

Along with this I received many of these errors and a huge queue
buildup:

---- SMTPRS log entry made at 12/26/2003 00:16:19
Cannot connect to authentication server <mail.domain.com>: connect()
failed: 1216

Do you see any of these? Seems to be a general TCP issue.

does anyone know what this error actually means:

Mail Store error [0x00000002]:
---- MODUSADM log entry made at 12/26/2003 09:51:01

(its from the error logs on our Modusgate server)

Thanks,
Lapo
