Title: Message

Hi Jim,

As Modus Mail treats each mail list separately you should be able to insert a Header indicating the list name by simply re-writing the header fields. You could also display this in each message by using a prolog or postlog message.

Going back to your previous posts, I don’t think database mailing lists expose any addition field except the FullName and EmailAddress. You do not actually need a full name but this is useful when viewing details in the console. As you can specify the query to use within the mailing list definition you can extend the database to include additional fields etc. For example, I use a mailing list to send an email to the members of one of my websites, this in turn reads the data from an SQL Database and collates ‘Title’, ‘Forename’, and ‘Lastname’ into the Fullname field.

Subject: [Modus] Database Mailing Lists

In the SQL Queries for a database mailing list in Build 282 (or perhaps all 3.x builds), is there a variable that I can insert that will report the list name?
