* This is the modus mailing list * No, the problem is not that the local system is checking reverse DNS it is that the target system is.
They are saying for the ISP to to fix their reverse DNS or for the mail orginator not to run their own server, but to use the ISP's server. SO.... you need to put in a Reverse DNS listing in your DNS server for the mail server. If you aren't running Reverse DNS listings... you should.
