This worked for me this time.. Not sure why I had so many problems last
time I tried it. Anyways, is there a way to gather the data for the
Send, Receive, and DontReceiveOwnPost items? If so, what format should
the results be in?

Okay here goes ...

Here's the database format.

1) Database format ...

For the database, you need two fields at a minimum: a membername field
(ie: Email of the member) and a fullname field Ex:

table: aList
mAddress, type text/varchar
mFullname, type text/varchar

You create a system DSN that points to the DB containing the aList
table.

Populate it with a couple of test members.

aList
mAddress mFullname

[EMAIL PROTECTED] John Troher

Once you've populated the list with a couple of test members ...

You go into ModusConsole, lists, create your new list as a database
mailing list, in "Database Config", you put in the system DSN, the DSN
username/password if applicable, and you define your select statement.
With the above example:

SELECT mAddress,mFullname FROM aList

Click on Apply and go to members, you should see the members pop up.

You should index the mAddress field.
