I just got a suspicious message from [EMAIL PROTECTED] No body. Subjet "HELLO". With an attachment called text.zip.
Suspicious, I saved it in a safe place and opened it first in a text editor and then in Winzip.
Sure enough, the actual file name is:
text.htm,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.scr
Where each comma was actually a space.
So it's an .scr file. Which means executable. Which means this prolly something nasty.
Of course with it being a .zip, it got past the attachment filter.
Anyone seen this before? Should I forward the message to someone?
