We have received complaints from some customers about an error received from the auto-update and the Update Now function. We are currently investigating the problem and will be posting the result of our finding. In the mean time, we believe the problem is caused when Modus tries to load the new Virus definition. It appears that a file(s) may be locked by the OS or other processes. Some customers have fixed the problem by stopping and restarting Moduscan and ModusADM. Others have fixed the problem by rebooting their servers. Support department will be posting more information on how to correct the Update process. We take this problem very seriously and will keep posting new information to the list until we get a final resolution. Regards, p.s.
