I ran into this as
well. I found if you delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VIRCOM key that will
wipe out the pathing and allow you to enter new install locations. There are
also registry entries for the services. That are listed under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SERVICES. Look for key folders like MODUSADM, SMTPRS, SMTPDS,
etc� you can also do a mailconfigbackup to create the
text file with the settings, edit the text file to change your drive letters or
whatever, and then restore the config.
