We are actually seeing a rather high rate of false
positives in Spanish email that has started in the last 3 days. I've received
two complaints just this morning. From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Cary Fitch Sent: Thursday, February 12, 2004 9:36 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Modus] Increase in Spam We have gotten some Russian, and maybe a few missed
spams, but then we have also had messages from Suneel trapped and [EMAIL PROTECTED], so we figure the ratios
are about as tight as they can be. :-)
One one account, I get about 90 spams a day
trapped, vs: a slip about 1-2 a week, and false postitives in all 6 of my
accounts about twice a month, until I white list those.
So, no, I don't see a great increase in any sort of
slippage. In fact, given that some people would actually want
foreign character sets... the ability to fiter them properly is
"impressive".
