Sometimes you just have to say screw it I am doing it my way. Mod_python is like smoking a cigarette, you know its bad but just keep doing it because everybody ells is doing it and never quit what you would probably never had be doing in the first place so others would find you a cool guy :-)
If you want to smoke carrots instead of cigarettes you plant carrots in your garden. Not manipulated there genes in some very complicated way so they look like cigarettes but are actually taste like carrots.
