Like back in August, various Google groups are starting to vanish all over the place again.
This time apparently the python-dev group has vanished. Guess we sit tight and hope we don't vanish. :-) This time we have multiple owners and are now moderating first posts to get rid of spam. In some cases it looks like groups may have been removed because only a single owner and they were banned, or people had complained about adult spam in group or placement of adult material on the group home pages. Since Google never comments, it is though anyone's guess as to what is really going on and why groups are being removed without warning. I have saved the member list just in case.
