This is great documentation, please do not be sorry! The only thing wrong here is that there is no easy to find overview of these documents on the wsgi wiki. Indeed, my problem is conflicting expat versions; I'll have to recompile apache with a newer version of the library. Now, if only Python could be compiled with a dynamically loaded expat instead of the static version.. Thanks for the help!
